Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Vasco Fernandes started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. 3 minutes into the game, Vasco Fernandes recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Rogério Leal. Vasco Fernandes showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Jorge Borges showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Óscar Coelho in the 11th minute of the match. In the 15th minute Óscar Coelho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jorge Borges saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With his leg Rogério Leal managed to avoid a goal in the 17thth minute, when Taboabela FC's Amadeu Silva fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Jorge Borges took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from António Tavares, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Vasco Fernandes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rogério Leal having to interfere. In the 25th match minute, Escarei was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Joaquim Amorim to maneuver through the defense. In the 31st minute, Óscar Coelho got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 37 minutes into the match, Escarei's goalkeeper Rogério Leal had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Amadeu Silva. António Tavares's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jorge Borges read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 39th minute of play. Vasco Fernandes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 48th minute the ball was on its way in behind Escarei's goalkeeper Rogério Leal, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Óscar Coelho made the kick off in the second half. António Tavares scored 2-1 in the 55th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jorge Borges, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When António Tavares came up free with the goalie in the 82nd minute, the Escarei fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that António Tavares couldn't finish the play. Jorge Borges didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Escarei.
