Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Ricardo Pires got the match started through his kick off. Ermidas FC's Ricardo Moniz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tiago Amaral in the 3rd minute of play. In the 10th minute, José Silva got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 17 minutes in the game, Eusébio Baptista fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without José Leite having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Sambado's zone, Eusébio Baptista stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. José Leite came out of the goal and Eusébio Baptista tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ricardo Pires blasted a shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without José Leite having to make a save. After some fancy dribbling in the 24th minute, Ricardo Pires managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ermidas FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Ricardo Pires was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. José Leite breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. José Silva fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ricardo Moniz having to interfere. José Leite didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 31st minute, which inside left pole to 1-0. Ricardo Moniz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tiago Amaral in the 41st minute of the match. If Eusébio Baptista had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Tiago Amaral was the one to do the kick off. 51 minutes into the match, Ermidas FC's goal looked a bit too open when Tiago Amaral came free, but Ricardo Moniz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rui Ferreira hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. Tiago Amaral fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ricardo Moniz having to interfere. Eusébio Baptista received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. José Leite tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Alexandre Leite hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. 62 minutes into the game, Ricardo Pires cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. José Leite was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Ricardo Moniz didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 67th minute, which inside left pole to 2-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eusébio Baptista in the 71st minute of play forced Sambado's goalkeeper José Leite to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Ricardo Pires came up free with the goalie in the 81st minute, the Ermidas FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ricardo Pires couldn't finish the play. After having played for 83 minutes, José Silva managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sambado's supporters crossed their fingers, but José Silva was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 87 minutes into the match, Sambado's goal looked a bit too open when Eusébio Baptista came free, but José Leite reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 91st minute, José Silva got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 93rd minute, Tiago Amaral managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sambado's supporters rose to their feet, but Tiago Amaral was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ricardo Moniz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. José Silva could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 94th minute of the match, but Ricardo Moniz made a huge save. For all the effort they put into the match, the Sambado players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Ermidas FC.
