Pedro Tavares sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Pedro Rocha had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 15 minutes into the match, Augusto Henriques had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Alberto Rodrigues. Alcorouchel's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Augusto Henriques was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 22nd minute, Pedro Rocha managed to get in a good position for a shot. Beloi FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Pedro Rocha was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alberto Rodrigues breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Pedro Rocha's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Alberto Rodrigues read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 24th minute of play. If Augusto Henriques had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Alberto Rodrigues didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Pedro Rocha went, in the 33rd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. When Catarino Vieira fell near the penalty area in the 37th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Alcorouchel's protests and gave Catarino Vieira a yellow card for diving instead. After 38 played minutes, Beloi FC's Mariano Carvalho shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Alberto Rodrigues came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Beloi FC reached it. Mariano Carvalho's long shot made the audience stand up and applaude when it rumbled by Alberto Rodrigues on his right side and into the goal. 38 minutes into the game it was 0-3. During the 46th minute of the match Catarino Vieira completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Catarino Vieira a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Catarino Vieira hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Hélder Andrade in the 53rd minute of play forced Beloi FC's goalkeeper Sérgio Antunes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sérgio Antunes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hélder Andrade, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 57 minutes into the game, Alcorouchel's Hélder Andrade nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Sérgio Antunes made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-3. Alberto Rodrigues made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pedro Rocha in the 64th minute of play. Alberto Rodrigues made a fantastic save in the 66th minute, when Carlos Matos sent off a good shot on target. Hélder Andrade fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sérgio Antunes having to interfere. Pedro Rocha might have been able to make a better finish in the 75th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Alberto Rodrigues. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Pedro Rocha ran back to his position shaking his head. With a little luck, Alcorouchel's Alberto Rodrigues got control of the ball when Augusto Henriques tried to sneak it across the goal line. Hélder Andrade sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
