Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Afonso Mota kicked off to start the match. Gaspar Cardoso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adelino Pereira in the 5th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in SC Santalha's zone, Augusto Luz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. António Soares came out of the goal and Augusto Luz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adelino Pereira in the 9th minute of play forced Rodeios FC's goalkeeper Gaspar Cardoso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gaspar Cardoso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adelino Pereira in the 11th minute of the match. In the 12th minute Miguel Cardoso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gaspar Cardoso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 13thth minute of the game Adelino Pereira who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Rodeios FC's Gaspar Cardoso was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 18 minutes into the match, SC Santalha's Adelino Pereira sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Gaspar Cardoso narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Gaspar Cardoso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Adelino Pereira, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. SC Santalha's Adelino Pereira got a good chance for a goal in the 25th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Miguel Cardoso's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gaspar Cardoso read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 28th minute of play. Augusto Luz struck a weak shot in the 30th minute. António Soares didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Rodeios FC. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Adelino Pereira in the 37th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gaspar Cardoso saved Rodeios FC from getting behind. If Miguel Cardoso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 41 minutes into the match, SC Santalha's goal looked a bit too open when Afonso Mota came free, but António Soares reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Afonso Mota came up free with the goalie in the 45th minute, the Rodeios FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Afonso Mota couldn't finish the play. In the 48th minute, Augusto Luz fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Américo Santarém during the 55th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Rodeios FC getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Américo Santarém hit a great ball. 59 minutes into the match, SC Santalha's goal looked a bit too open when Augusto Luz came free, but António Soares reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gaspar Cardoso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adelino Pereira in the 61st minute of the match. Augusto Luz kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. Gaspar Cardoso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adelino Pereira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 73rdth minute of the game Adelino Pereira who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Rodeios FC's Gaspar Cardoso was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Gaspar Cardoso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adelino Pereira in the 80th minute of the match. After 85 played minutes SC Santalha got a freekick which was hit by Jorge Gomes. Miguel Cardoso's late challenge caught a Rodeios FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Miguel Cardoso helped the player get up and apologised. Alexandre Cardoso sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Rodeios FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while SC Santalha had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
