Alvem's Filipe Machado got a good chance for a goal in the 32nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. David Cunha showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jorge Araújo in the 38th minute of the match. In the 40th minute, Jorge Araújo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Joel Reis made a fantastic save in the 42nd minute, when Inácio Lima sent off a good shot on target. Cristiano Porto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joel Reis having to interfere. Jorge Araújo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without David Cunha having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Filipe Machado in the 48th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg David Cunha saved SC Frioes from getting behind.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Cristiano Porto was the one to do the kick off. After 51 played minutes Alvem got a freekick which was hit by Hélder Lima. Pedro Correia took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 52nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Joel Reis. Alvem's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jorge Araújo in the 54th minute of play forced SC Frioes's goalkeeper David Cunha to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Filipe Machado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. David Cunha didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 58th minute, which inside left pole to 0-2. The crowd rose to their feet as Alvem's Cristiano Neto slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of David Cunha. That made the score 0-3 after 67 minutes of play. SC Frioes's David Cunha played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vítor Torres in the 75th minute of play. Filipe Machado sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If André Costa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 86th minute, Inácio Lima got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The SC Frioes supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Alvem's performance. The match ended with a win for Alvem.
