Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Bruno Pinheiro started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. In the 3rd minute, Pedro Campos ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Vítor Matias was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Mangoeiro's Daniel Amaro got a good chance for a goal in the 7th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 11th minute of the match, Pedro Campos got a very nice opportunity to score, but Vítor Matias was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. 13 minutes into the match, Cogambreiro's Bruno Pinheiro sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jaime Maia narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 15 minutes into the match, Cogambreiro's goalkeeper Vítor Matias had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Pedro Campos. Mangoeiro's Jaime Maia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fernando Barros in the 16th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Xavier Costa during the 18th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 19th minute, Mangoeiro's Pedro Campos ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Vítor Matias. Vítor Matias yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. Pedro Campos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vítor Matias having to interfere. After 24 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Mangoeiro! Bruno Pinheiro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 33rd minute, Daniel Amaro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 35 minutes into the match, Mangoeiro's goal looked a bit too open when Fernando Barros came free, but Jaime Maia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cogambreiro's Xavier Costa got his second yellow card of the match in the 37th minute. The referee ordered Xavier Costa off the ground. Xavier Costa kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. Cristiano Aguiar took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 39th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Vítor Matias. Cogambreiro's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Fernando Barros fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jaime Maia having to interfere. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Daniel Amaro made a kick off. When Cristiano Aguiar fell near the penalty area in the 55th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Mangoeiro's protests and gave Cristiano Aguiar a yellow card for diving instead. If Pedro Campos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Vítor Matias took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Amaro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jaime Maia made a fantastic save in the 67th minute, when Fernando Barros sent off a good shot on target. In the 68th match minute, Mangoeiro was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lourenço Azevedo to maneuver through the defense. Vítor Matias made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Amaro in the 73rd minute of play. Jaime Maia made a fantastic save in the 75th minute, when Fernando Barros sent off a good shot on target. After having played for 77 minutes, Pedro Campos managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mangoeiro's supporters crossed their fingers, but Pedro Campos was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some careless play in the Cogambreiro defense, Daniel Amaro kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Vítor Matias. The Cogambreiro fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Vítor Matias should have stopped the shot. Vítor Matias stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Daniel Amaro's shot from short distance in the 85th minute. Mangoeiro's Daniel Amaro got a good chance for a goal in the 89th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 93 minutes into the game, Bruno Pinheiro was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Cogambreiro's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Mangoeiro the free kick. The supporters of Mangoeiro booed when Cogambreiro was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bruno Pinheiro didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 96th minute Mangoeiro were awarded a corner. Cristiano Aguiar went to the cornerflag to take it. Cristiano Aguiar made a great header on Mangoeiro's corner, it was just that Cogambreiro's Vítor Matias managed to reach the ball for a save. Cogambreiro's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
