The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 4th minute of the game. One of Barrateiras FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Cogambreiro:s goal. João Matos made an important save on a dangerous shot by Bruno Pinheiro in the 11th minute. João Cabral received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Vítor Matias tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. João Cabral fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vítor Matias having to interfere. When Emanuel Castro fell near the penalty area in the 18th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Barrateiras FC's protests and gave Emanuel Castro a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Barrateiras FC getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Emanuel Castro hit a great ball. Barrateiras FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 20th minute, when Vítor Fernandes scored to the left of an out of position João Matos, making the score, 1-0. Cogambreiro's Gil Moutinho suffered a sprained foot after 25 minutes and couldn't finish the game. 26 minutes into the game, João Cabral was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Barrateiras FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Cogambreiro the free kick. After a rather tough play, Barrateiras FC's João Cabral got a free kick in the 26th minute. Vítor Matias made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from João Cabral in the 28th minute of play. João Cabral struck a weak shot in the 30th minute. Vítor Matias didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Barrateiras FC. Mariano Brás kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. When Duarte Nunes fell near the penalty area in the 33rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Cogambreiro's protests and gave Duarte Nunes a yellow card for diving instead. In the 33rd match minute, Cogambreiro was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Duarte Nunes to maneuver through the defense. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Emanuel Castro stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Mariano Brás had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Barrateiras FC's João Cabral got a free kick in the 59th minute. João Matos didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Bruno Pinheiro went, in the 61st minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. Vítor Matias took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from João Cabral, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Bruno Pinheiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute.
