Olivais's supporters rose to their feet, but Pedro Fonseca was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Álvaro Pinto breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With a little luck, Olivais's Miguel Rocha got control of the ball when João Setúbal tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 16th match minute, Mouzinhos FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Armindo Teixeira to maneuver through the defense. Olivais's Miguel Rocha proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 21st minute of the match, managed to save Olivais from getting a goal against them. Olivais's defense didn't have a chance, in the 30th minute, when Bernardo Andrade scored to the left of an out of position Miguel Rocha, making the score, 1-0. Olivais's Miguel Rocha played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bernardo Andrade in the 36th minute of play. João Setúbal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Miguel Rocha tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Bernardo Andrade to make the kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Pedro Fonseca got free with Álvaro Pinto in the 55th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 59th minute, one of Mouzinhos FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Mouzinhos FC. When Mouzinhos FC's João Setúbal in the 64th minute got a chance for a shot 64th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Olivais's goalie prevented a goal. After 66 played minutes Olivais got a freekick which was hit by Pedro Fonseca. Miguel Marques kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. João Pinto was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 77th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bernardo Andrade in the 79th minute of play forced Olivais's goalkeeper Miguel Rocha to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Bernardo Andrade in the 79th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Miguel Rocha saved Olivais from getting behind. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Duarte Dias during the 85th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Duarte Dias hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. Mouzinhos FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by João Pinto in the 88th minute. 92 minutes into the game, Gaspar Nogueira was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Olivais's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Mouzinhos FC the free kick. After a rather tough play, Olivais's Gaspar Nogueira got a free kick in the 92nd minute. After 93 played minutes Olivais got a freekick which was hit by Miguel Marques. João Pinto, 94 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Olivais eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
