The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Humberto Rodrigues during the 4th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 4th match minute, Meijoeira was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Humberto Rodrigues to maneuver through the defense. Artur Porto kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. Cristóvão Fontes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Diamantino Nogueira, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. Diamantino Nogueira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cristóvão Fontes having to interfere. 20 minutes into the match, Diamantino Nogueira dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Cristóvão Fontes, 1-0. Luís Azevedo hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. Cristiano Martins recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 32nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Carlos Freitas kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. 39 minutes into the match, Meijoeira's goal looked a bit too open when Rui Correia came free, but Oliveira Porto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cristiano Martins fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cristóvão Fontes having to interfere. If Diamantino Nogueira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Paulo Carvalho took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 46th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Cristóvão Fontes. SC Setabul's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Cândido Queirós hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match.

Cristóvão Fontes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Diamantino Nogueira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. SC Setabul's Amadeu Ribeiro shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 58th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Oliveira Porto but with some difficulty. After a defensive mix-up in SC Setabul's zone, Cristiano Martins stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cristóvão Fontes came out of the goal and Cristiano Martins tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Cristóvão Fontes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Diamantino Nogueira in the 63rd minute of the match. Cristiano Martins received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Cristóvão Fontes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cristóvão Fontes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Diamantino Nogueira in the 68th minute of the match. Cristiano Martins sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Oliveira Porto made an important save on a dangerous shot by Armindo Brás in the 76th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Rui Correia in the 79th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Oliveira Porto prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristiano Martins in the 80th minute of play forced SC Setabul's goalkeeper Cristóvão Fontes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Armindo Brás fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Oliveira Porto having to interfere. Humberto Rodrigues hit a great freekick 96 minutes into the match. Meijoeira's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
