Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Lúcio Viana kicked off to start the match. Bernardo Paredes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lúcio Viana, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Lúcio Viana received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Bernardo Paredes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bernardo Paredes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lúcio Viana in the 12th minute of play. After 28 played minutes Gem FC got a freekick which was hit by Domingos Carneiro. After 28 played minutes, Gorgoco FC's Pedro Amaro shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Bernardo Paredes came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Gorgoco FC reached it. Filipe Sá received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Joaquim Lisboa charged in rather forcefully in the 31st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Joaquim Lisboa the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 32nd minute, Joaquim Lisboa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Alexandre Brás came out of the goal in the 33rd minute to try and stop a shot by Gem FC's Filipe Sá. But to his dismay, Filipe Sá quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. If Rui Torres had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 39 minutes in the game, Rui Torres fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Alexandre Brás having to interfere. Filipe Sá's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 41stth minute, Alexandre Brás skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Rui Torres fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alexandre Brás having to interfere. Abel Gaspar recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 44th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Filipe Sá had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Rui Torres made the kick off in the second half. When Filipe Sá came up free with the goalie in the 53rd minute, the Gem FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Filipe Sá couldn't finish the play. In the 71st minute Luís Rocha shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alexandre Brás saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 74 minutes into the game, Bruno Carneiro was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Gorgoco FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Gem FC the free kick. Bruno Carneiro hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. Bernardo Paredes was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 96th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Rui Carneiro. Gem FC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
