Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Sabacheira FC's Carlos Amaral started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. If Vicente Anjos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 4th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Carlos Amaral fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joel Campos having to interfere. After a rather tough play, SC Moreiro's Armindo Marques got a free kick in the 11th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Vicente Anjos in the 17th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Paulo Carvalho prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Amadeu Neves kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. 23 minutes into the match, SC Moreiro's Lucas Nascimento broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. After 29 minutes, Amadeu Neves mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Sabacheira FC and the SC Moreiro players grew even worse after the yellow card. 28 minutes into the game, one of Sabacheira FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The referee gave SC Moreiro a penalty, 31 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Lucas Nascimento, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Sabacheira FC's Paulo Carvalho. 0-1. Lúcio Barros who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 36thth minute tested the skills of Joel Campos when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Sabacheira FC's Lúcio Barros got a good chance for a goal in the 41st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Joel Campos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carlos Amaral in the 43rd minute of play. If Carlos Amaral had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 46th minute, David Melo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Paulo Carvalho took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vicente Anjos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Sabacheira FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. SC Moreiro were winning 0-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Vicente Anjos to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 59th minute, Lúcio Barros got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Carlos Amaral received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Joel Campos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Lúcio Barros blasted a shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Joel Campos having to make a save. Lúcio Barros struck a weak shot in the 66th minute. Joel Campos didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sabacheira FC. After a defensive mix-up in Sabacheira FC's zone, Vicente Anjos stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Paulo Carvalho came out of the goal and Vicente Anjos tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. SC Moreiro's Joel Campos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lúcio Barros in the 70th minute of play. If Vicente Anjos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 81 minutes into the game, Álvaro Cardoso recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Paulo Carvalho. Álvaro Cardoso showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-2. Lúcio Barros might have been able to make a better finish in the 86th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Joel Campos. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Lúcio Barros ran back to his position shaking his head. Vicente Anjos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Paulo Carvalho tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 91 minutes into the match, SC Moreiro's Vicente Anjos sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Paulo Carvalho narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Lúcio Barros recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 93rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The SC Moreiro players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
