Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) SC Abelhal's Armando Moura started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 3rd match minute, Odivelas FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Francisco Pinto to maneuver through the defense. 9 minutes into the game, SC Abelhal's Armando Moura nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Gil Freitas made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Rui Sá sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gil Freitas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rui Sá, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. In the 20th minute Armando Moura shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gil Freitas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Armando Moura had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Odivelas FC's Francisco Pinto got a free kick in the 22nd minute. Gil Freitas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Armando Moura in the 25th minute of the match. Bruno Faro charged in rather forcefully in the 29th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Bruno Faro the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Odivelas FC's Bruno Faro got a free kick in the 29th minute. After 32 minutes Odivelas FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was André Macedo who took care of the corner kick. SC Abelhal's André Macedo was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Gil Freitas in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. António Esteves fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hugo Ribeiro having to interfere.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Eusébio Cruz to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 56th minute, Armando Moura hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 58th match minute, Odivelas FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Delfim Gonçalves to maneuver through the defense. 60 minutes into the match, António Esteves had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Hugo Ribeiro. SC Abelhal's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that António Esteves was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Rui Sá received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Gil Freitas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Armando Moura in the 82nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gil Freitas prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 85 minutes into the match, SC Abelhal's Armando Moura sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Gil Freitas narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Gil Freitas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Armando Moura in the 94th minute of play. When Odivelas FC's Eusébio Cruz in the 97th minute got a chance for a shot 97th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye SC Abelhal's goalie prevented a goal. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
