Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Armando Moura made the kick off and thus started the match. Cândido Rodrigues received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 2nd minute. Hugo Ribeiro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rui Sá fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Afonso Leite having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Eusébio Branco kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Afonso Leite. That made the score 1-0 in the 11 minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cândido Rodrigues in the 18th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Hugo Ribeiro prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 22nd match minute, Caide FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rui Correia to maneuver through the defense. Afonso Leite showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Armando Moura, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. Vítor Borba kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, SC Abelhal's Rui Sá got a free kick in the 28th minute. Rui Sás short, quick shot in the 35thth minute got Afonso Leite to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 40th minute, Cristiano Veiga hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 45th minute Armando Moura shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Afonso Leite saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Cândido Rodrigues was the one to do the kick off. Rui Sá fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Afonso Leite having to interfere. If Cândido Rodrigues had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 58 minutes into the match, SC Abelhal's goal looked a bit too open when Cândido Rodrigues came free, but Hugo Ribeiro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 58th minute, Cândido Rodrigues made a precise shot to the right of Hugo Ribeiro. SC Abelhal's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. When Cândido Rodrigues came up free with the goalie in the 62nd minute, the Caide FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cândido Rodrigues couldn't finish the play. In the 75th minute, Rui Paiva ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Hugo Ribeiro was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. Rui Sá sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Armando Moura fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Afonso Leite having to interfere. The Caide FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Caide FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
