Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Cândido Rodrigues started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Fábio Veiga hit a great freekick 5 minutes into the match. José Lisboa was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 5th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. After having played for 7 minutes, Cândido Rodrigues managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Caide FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cândido Rodrigues was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 15th minute, Odivelas FC's Eusébio Cruz ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Afonso Leite. Afonso Leite yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. António Esteves could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 18th minute of the match, but Afonso Leite made a huge save. António Esteves's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Afonso Leite read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 20th minute of play. If Rui Paiva had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Gil Freitas didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Cândido Rodrigues went, in the 37th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Rui Paiva in the 42nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gil Freitas saved Odivelas FC from getting behind. If Cândido Rodrigues had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cândido Rodrigues fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gil Freitas having to interfere. 47 minutes into the match, Odivelas FC's goal looked a bit too open when Rui Paiva came free, but Gil Freitas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

After a rather tough play, Caide FC's Rui Correia got a free kick in the 52nd minute. In the 53rd minute, Gonçalo Araújo sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Caide FC's Afonso Leite didn't even have to move. Rafael Ramos charged in rather forcefully in the 54th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Rafael Ramos the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 55th minute, Rafael Ramos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling António Esteves in the 57th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Afonso Leite prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Afonso Leite took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from António Esteves, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rafael Ramos hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. A collision led to Odivelas FC getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Manuel Barros hit a great ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Cândido Rodrigues kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Gil Freitas. That made the score 1-2 in the 66 minute of play. After a rather tough play, Odivelas FC's Manuel Barros got a free kick in the 73rd minute. Gil Freitas made an important save on a dangerous shot by Rui Paiva in the 74th minute. If Cândido Rodrigues had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cândido Rodrigues fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gil Freitas having to interfere. Rui Correia's late challenge caught a Odivelas FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Rui Correia helped the player get up and apologised. In the 86th match minute, Caide FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rui Correia to maneuver through the defense. If António Esteves had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When António Esteves came up free with the goalie in the 93rd minute, the Odivelas FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that António Esteves couldn't finish the play. The Caide FC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
