Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Cimalhas's Sérgio Veiga started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 4 minutes, Sérgio Veiga mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Cimalhas and the SC Sortelha players grew even worse after the yellow card. Sérgio Veiga hit a great freekick 4 minutes into the match. If Paulo Antunes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 13th minute, Paulo Antunes managed to get in a good position for a shot. SC Sortelha's supporters rose to their feet, but Paulo Antunes was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alexandre Macedo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 19 minutes into the game, Sérgio Veiga cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Luís Leite was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Artur Vale charged in rather forcefully in the 23rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Artur Vale the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 23 played minutes SC Sortelha got a freekick which was hit by Artur Vale. 0-2 became the score in the 25th minute when Sérgio Veiga elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. When the match had gone on for 36 minutes, Paulo Antunes took a quick shot and it went in 1-2 without a chance for Alexandre Macedo to make any attempt to save it. In a very dangerous position, a player in SC Sortelha fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 46th minute. Penalty! André Lima shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. The SC Sortelha players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Cimalhas were winning 1-2.

Artur Vale's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Alexandre Macedo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 53rd minute of play. Alexandre Macedo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Artur Vale, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the last second Luís Leite throw himself and got hold of the ball when Sérgio Veiga in the 58thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. Sérgio Veiga fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luís Leite having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sérgio Veiga in the 63rd minute of play forced SC Sortelha's goalkeeper Luís Leite to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fernando Maia's late challenge caught a Cimalhas's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Fernando Maia helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, SC Sortelha's Fernando Maia got a free kick in the 64th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 68th minute, Artur Vale managed to get in a good position for a shot. When Artur Vale came up free with the goalie in the 84th minute, the SC Sortelha fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Artur Vale couldn't finish the play. Alexandre Macedo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Artur Vale went, in the 86th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-3 was the resulting score. A collision led to SC Sortelha getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Xavier Moniz hit a great ball. Nuno Matos could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 95th minute of the match, but Luís Leite made a huge save. Alexandre Macedo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristóvão Leão in the 100th minute of the match. The Cimalhas players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
