In the 6th match minute, Mortas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pedro Ramos to maneuver through the defense. Hugo Assunção showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristiano Santos in the 9th minute of the match. If Cristiano Santos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 26 minutes, Pedro Ramos mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Mortas and the SC Queirela players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 27th minute, Pedro Ramos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 28 minutes into the game, SC Queirela's Vítor Delgado nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Hugo Assunção made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. 32 minutes into the game, Mortas's André Gomes nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Vítor Ferreira made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. After a rather tough play, Mortas's Delfim Silva got a free kick in the 34th minute. Mortas's Pedro Gonçalves got a good chance for a goal in the 39th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After having played for 43 minutes, André Gomes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mortas's supporters crossed their fingers, but André Gomes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Pedro Gonçalves fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vítor Ferreira having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 46th minute, André Gomes managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mortas's supporters rose to their feet, but André Gomes was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Vítor Ferreira breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

The wind increased when Cristiano Santos made the kick off in the second half. Hugo Assunção made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristiano Santos in the 51st minute of play. Pedro Gonçalves hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. After 60 played minutes SC Queirela got a freekick which was hit by Cristiano Santos. Vítor Delgado received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Hugo Assunção tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Vítor Delgado in the 71st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Hugo Assunção saved Mortas from getting behind. In the 73rdth minute of the game Cristiano Santos who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Mortas's Hugo Assunção was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When SC Queirela's Cristiano Santos in the 81st minute got a chance for a shot 81st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Mortas's goalie prevented a goal. Alexandre Resende kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
