Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Rodrigo Assunção started the match with the kick off. When SC Caratao's Vítor Dantas in the 5th minute got a chance for a shot 5th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The tension between the SC Caratao and the SC Fetil players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of SC Fetil booed when SC Caratao was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Afonso Branco didn't get a good kick on the ball. Vítor Dantas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Alexandre Fernandes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Vítor Dantas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alexandre Fernandes having to interfere. A collision led to SC Fetil getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. António Campos hit a great ball. In the 16th minute, Rodrigo Assunção ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Alexandre Fernandes was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. In the 19th minute, António Campos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Vítor Dantas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Alexandre Fernandes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Miguel Melo struck a weak shot in the 25th minute. João Brito didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SC Fetil. If Rodrigo Assunção had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 33rdth minute of the game Vítor Dantas who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but SC Fetil's Alexandre Fernandes was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Hélder Araújo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but João Brito read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 35th minute of play. Miguel Melo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. João Brito tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Vítor Dantas struck a weak shot in the 40th minute. Alexandre Fernandes didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SC Caratao. Rodrigo Assunção might have been able to make a better finish in the 43rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Alexandre Fernandes. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Rodrigo Assunção ran back to his position shaking his head. When SC Caratao's Rodrigo Assunção in the 45th minute got a chance for a shot 45th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye SC Fetil's goalie prevented a goal. The SC Fetil players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. SC Caratao were winning 0-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Pedro Silva to make the kick off. When Afonso Branco was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 56 minutes had been played. A collision led to SC Caratao getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Afonso Branco hit a great ball. 63 minutes into the game, SC Fetil's Pedro Silva nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. João Brito made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. In the 71st match minute, SC Caratao was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luís Correia to maneuver through the defense. After 77 minutes, Pedro Gonçalves mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the SC Fetil and the SC Caratao players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 77 played minutes SC Fetil got a freekick which was hit by Pedro Gonçalves. In the 81st minute, Pedro Silva left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The SC Fetil fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pedro Silva in the 84th minute of play forced SC Caratao's goalkeeper João Brito to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, SC Caratao's Rodrigo Assunção got a free kick in the 88th minute. When SC Fetil's Pedro Silva in the 90th minute got a chance for a shot 90th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye SC Caratao's goalie prevented a goal. 91 minutes into the match, SC Caratao's goal looked a bit too open when Hélder Araújo came free, but João Brito reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Vítor Dantas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. SC Fetil had won after a very even match.
