Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) An unexpectedly hard shot by Afonso Freitas in the 10th minute of play forced Fradeira FC's goalkeeper André Amorim to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Afonso Freitas's late challenge caught a Fradeira FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Afonso Freitas helped the player get up and apologised. After having played for 18 minutes, Afonso Freitas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SC Caxieira's supporters crossed their fingers, but Afonso Freitas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Afonso Freitas struck a weak shot in the 21st minute. André Amorim didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SC Caxieira. After a defensive mix-up in SC Caxieira's zone, Alexandre Nascimento stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Luís Cardoso came out of the goal and Alexandre Nascimento tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Alexandre Nascimento received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Luís Cardoso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Luís Cardoso came out of the goal in the 42nd minute to try and stop a shot by Fradeira FC's Jorge Leite. But to his dismay, Jorge Leite quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2.

In the 54th minute of the match SC Caxieira got a corner. Fradeira FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Hugo Resende ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led SC Caxieira's Hugo Resende to fire away a dangerous shot which André Amorim despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Gaspar Coimbra sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 61 played minutes Fradeira FC got a freekick which was hit by Amílcar Leão. After some careless play in the Fradeira FC defense, Afonso Freitas kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of André Amorim. The Fradeira FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that André Amorim should have stopped the shot. A collision led to Fradeira FC getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. João Cardoso hit a great ball. When Afonso Freitas came up free with the goalie in the 74th minute, the SC Caxieira fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Afonso Freitas couldn't finish the play. Heitor Leiria hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. After 85 minutes of play, Fradeira FC's Alexandre Nascimento made it 1-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Luís Cardoso was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 90 played minutes SC Caxieira got a freekick which was hit by Daniel Santos. A collision led to SC Caxieira getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Augusto Leiria hit a great ball. When Alexandre Nascimento came up free with the goalie in the 95th minute, the Fradeira FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alexandre Nascimento couldn't finish the play. The Fradeira FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Fradeira FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
