Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Afonso Freitas kicked off to start the match. Afonso Freitas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 5th minute. Diogo Vieira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 10th play minute Gaspar Coimbra came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Diogo Vieira. 1-0. In the 13th match minute, Pregosa was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Joaquim Porto to maneuver through the defense. 14 minutes into the match, SC Caxieira's Hugo Resende broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Gaspar Coimbra sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Heitor Leiria's late challenge caught a Pregosa's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Heitor Leiria helped the player get up and apologised. Heitor Leiria hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Pregosa's Amílcar Cabral got a free kick in the 23rd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Afonso Freitas in the 24th minute of play forced Pregosa's goalkeeper Diogo Vieira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gaspar Coimbra recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 28th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Afonso Freitas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Diogo Vieira having to interfere. After 32 played minutes SC Caxieira got a freekick which was hit by Heitor Leiria. Luís Cardoso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from André Barbosa, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. Luís Cardoso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from André Barbosa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 42nd minute, Gaspar Coimbra hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell André Barbosa to make the kick off. 54 minutes into the match, SC Caxieira's goalkeeper Luís Cardoso had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Amílcar Cabral. When Raul Rodrigues fell near the penalty area in the 57th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored SC Caxieira's protests and gave Raul Rodrigues a yellow card for diving instead. In the 57th match minute, SC Caxieira was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Raul Rodrigues to maneuver through the defense. In the 69th minute, Afonso Freitas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 71st minute the ball was on its way in behind SC Caxieira's goalkeeper Luís Cardoso, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 82 minutes, Amílcar Cabral made it 1-1 with a short kick to the right side. SC Caxieira's Luís Cardoso tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Amílcar Cabral sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Amílcar Cabral took the ball and in the 95 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Luís Cardoso. Luís Cardoso dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. The Pregosa players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
