Adelino Coelho showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Simão Magalhães, who was totally free with the ball in the 3rd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Simão Magalhães in the 4th minute of play forced Arcozelo's goalkeeper Adelino Coelho to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lúcio Ferreira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Humberto Reis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 16th minute Lúcio Ferreira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Humberto Reis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Adelino Coelho stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Simão Magalhães's shot from short distance in the 18th minute. When the match had gone on for 22 minutes, Simão Magalhães took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Adelino Coelho to make any attempt to save it. Amílcar Bessa's late challenge caught a Arcozelo's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Amílcar Bessa helped the player get up and apologised. Amílcar Bessa kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. Tiago Campos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 28th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Eusébio Fonseca fell near the penalty area in the 29th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Comaros FC's protests and gave Eusébio Fonseca a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Comaros FC's Eusébio Fonseca got a free kick in the 29th minute. Lúcio Ferreira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After 35 minutes, André Correia mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Comaros FC and the Arcozelo players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 39th minute, Comaros FC's Simão Magalhães dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. Humberto Reis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lúcio Ferreira in the 45th minute of the match. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Simão Magalhães made a kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 55th minute, Nuno Gaspar managed to get in a good position for a shot. Comaros FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Nuno Gaspar was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Adelino Coelho breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After having played for 57 minutes, Simão Magalhães managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Comaros FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Simão Magalhães was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Vítor Aguiar struck a weak shot in the 58th minute. Adelino Coelho didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Comaros FC. In the 60th match minute, Comaros FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alexandre Nunes to maneuver through the defense. Adelino Coelho made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Simão Magalhães in the 63rd minute of play. Adelino Coelho took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vítor Aguiar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Vítor Aguiar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Simão Magalhães sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Comaros FC booed when Arcozelo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. David Jesus didn't get a good kick on the ball. Humberto Reis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lúcio Ferreira in the 86th minute of play. Vítor Aguiar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Vítor Aguiar struck a weak shot in the 91st minute. In the 95th minute, Simão Magalhães made a precise shot to the right of Adelino Coelho. Arcozelo's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. Comaros FC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
