Raul Castro's late challenge caught a SC Argova's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Raul Castro helped the player get up and apologised. In the 8th match minute, Maiorga FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Raul Castro to maneuver through the defense. Cláudio Campos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Joel Moura sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Delfim Fontes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Amílcar Barros, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bernardo Maia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Delfim Fontes having to interfere. Gabriel Moutinho hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. Joel Amaro kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. In the 30th minute, Bernardo Maia left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Maiorga FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Gonçalo Valente had in the 35thth minute some difficulties stopping Gabriel Moutinho's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. When SC Argova's Cláudio Campos in the 40th minute got a chance for a shot 40th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Maiorga FC's goalie prevented a goal. Raul Castro got his second yellow card in the match during the 41st minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. The supporters of SC Argova booed when Maiorga FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Raul Castro didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bernardo Maia recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 44th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Joel Moura had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

The wind increased when Bernardo Maia made the kick off in the second half. Cláudio Campos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Gonçalo Valente tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ricardo Barros hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. Joel Moura recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 65th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cláudio Campos in the 68th minute of play forced Maiorga FC's goalkeeper Gonçalo Valente to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 77th minute Cláudio Campos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gonçalo Valente saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 78 minutes into the game, Amílcar Barros was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Maiorga FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave SC Argova the free kick. SC Argova's Cláudio Campos managed to work through Maiorga FC's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Cláudio Campos dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. 90 minutes into the match, Maiorga FC's Bernardo Maia sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Delfim Fontes narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Delfim Fontes made a fantastic save in the 91st minute, when Bernardo Maia sent off a good shot on target. The supporters of SC Argova booed when Maiorga FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ricardo Rodrigues didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gonçalo Valente took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cláudio Campos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The SC Argova supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Maiorga FC's performance. The match ended with a win for Maiorga FC.
