Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The audience was convinced that Jaime Garcia's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Filipe Faro was relentless in the 4th minute of the game. João Moniz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 5th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Américo Nogueira who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 10thth minute tested the skills of Francisco Brito when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Escapais's Francisco Brito proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 11th minute of the match, managed to save Escapais from getting a goal against them. João Moniz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Filipe Faro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jaime Garcia in the 16th minute of the match. Escapais's Jaime Garcia got a good chance for a goal in the 17th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 19th minute, João Moniz managed to get in a good position for a shot. Escapais's supporters rose to their feet, but João Moniz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Filipe Faro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Jaime Garcia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Filipe Faro having to interfere. In the 26th match minute, Escapais was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Manuel Trindade to maneuver through the defense. In the 29th match minute, SC Vergas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by António Veiga to maneuver through the defense. Escapais's Francisco Brito played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by António Veiga in the 33rd minute of play. Américo Nogueira could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 35th minute of the match, but Francisco Brito made a huge save. 37 minutes into the match, Escapais's goal looked a bit too open when António Veiga came free, but Francisco Brito reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Filipe Faro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from João Moniz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Francisco Brito made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from António Veiga in the 42nd minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Escapais's zone, Américo Nogueira stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Francisco Brito came out of the goal and Américo Nogueira tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Francisco Brito made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from António Veiga in the 45th minute of play. Filipe Faro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jaime Garcia, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute.

António Veiga fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Francisco Brito having to interfere. If António Veiga had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 59th match minute, Escapais was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sandro Vaz to maneuver through the defense. Filipe Faro made a fantastic save in the 63rd minute, when Jaime Garcia sent off a good shot on target. 63 minutes into the game, Armindo Domingues was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. SC Vergas's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Escapais the free kick. A collision led to SC Vergas getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Armindo Domingues hit a great ball. Rafael Matos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 70th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Rafael Matos kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. Sandro Vaz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Filipe Faro having to interfere. In the 82nd minute, Armindo Domingues hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 83rd minute, Carlos Azevedo sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and SC Vergas's Filipe Faro didn't even have to move. After having played for 87 minutes, Jaime Garcia managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Escapais's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jaime Garcia was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 92nd minute of the match Fábio Antunes shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Francisco Brito showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
