Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Paulo Amaral kicked off to start the match. Paulo Amaral received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 3rd minute. Alexandre Pacheco tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Humberto Costa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Bruno Barros tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Luís Monteiro kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. Bruno Barros made a fantastic save in the 9th minute, when Humberto Costa sent off a good shot on target. 15 minutes into the match, Atalaia's goal looked a bit too open when Paulo Amaral came free, but Alexandre Pacheco reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Humberto Costas short, quick shot in the 19thth minute got Bruno Barros to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After a rather tough play, Atalaia's Mário Sá got a free kick in the 29th minute. Alexandre Pacheco showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sebastião Carvalho, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. 40 minutes into the match, Atalaia's goal looked a bit too open when Paulo Amaral came free, but Alexandre Pacheco reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 42nd minute the ball was on its way in behind SC Vimioso's goalkeeper Bruno Barros, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Atalaia's Jorge Bessa couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 45th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for SC Vimioso. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.
Bruno Barros took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Francisco Leite, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 55 played minutes SC Vimioso got a freekick which was hit by Vítor Moniz. Alexandre Pacheco came out of the goal in the 62nd minute to try and stop a shot by SC Vimioso's Sebastião Carvalho. But to his dismay, Sebastião Carvalho quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. If Sebastião Carvalho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alexandre Pacheco showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Paulo Amaral, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. Hélder Carneiro's late challenge caught a SC Vimioso's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Hélder Carneiro helped the player get up and apologised. If Francisco Leite had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Humberto Costa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The crowd rose to their feet as SC Vimioso's Paulo Amaral slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Alexandre Pacheco. That made the score 0-3 after 91 minutes of play.
