In the 15th minute, José Queirós ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Rui Setúbal was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. The supporters of SC Panasco booed when Reliquias was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Albertino Coelho didn't get a good kick on the ball. Álvaro Correia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rui Setúbal having to interfere. Jorge Santos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when José Queirós made the kick off in the second half. When Rodrigo Amorim fell near the penalty area in the 55th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Reliquias's protests and gave Rodrigo Amorim a yellow card for diving instead. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 55th minute of the game. One of Reliquias:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of SC Panasco:s goal. In the 56th minute there was a penalty for SC Panasco. Henrique Antunes stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving André Amaro. 2-2. If Álvaro Bessa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When Álvaro Bessa came up free with the goalie in the 63rd minute, the SC Panasco fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Álvaro Bessa couldn't finish the play. Álvaro Correia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Rui Setúbal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Álvaro Correia got free with Rui Setúbal in the 72nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 73 minutes into the match, SC Panasco's Álvaro Bessa sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that André Amaro narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Álvaro Bessa's late challenge caught a Reliquias's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Álvaro Bessa helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to SC Panasco getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Álvaro Bessa hit a great ball. If Álvaro Correia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rui Setúbal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from José Queirós, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. In the 79th match minute, Reliquias was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vicente Mota to maneuver through the defense. It was beautiful to see SC Panasco's Henrique Antunes in action when he in the 81st minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! When SC Panasco's Álvaro Bessa in the 83rd minute got a chance for a shot 83rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Reliquias's goalie prevented a goal. After a rather tough play, Reliquias's Filipe Aleixo got a free kick in the 85th minute. Jorge Santos kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. In the 91st match minute, Reliquias was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bruno Leão to maneuver through the defense. Xavier Moutinho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without André Amaro having to interfere. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
