Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) After a defensive mix-up in SC Angueira's zone, Gabriel Costa stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jaime Luz came out of the goal and Gabriel Costa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Bento Cardoso's late challenge caught a SC Angueira's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Bento Cardoso helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Benavente's Bento Cardoso got a free kick in the 5th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Mariano Vaz in the 6th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Vicente Branco prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Bento Simões struck a weak shot in the 7th minute. Vicente Branco didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SC Angueira. Vicente Branco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mariano Vaz in the 11th minute of play. After 13 minutes, Mariano Vaz made it 1-0 with a short kick to the right side. Benavente's Vicente Branco tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 15th match minute, SC Angueira was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alexandre Leão to maneuver through the defense. Tomás Miranda took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 18th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Jaime Luz. SC Angueira's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 21st minute, Bento Simões got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Jaime Luz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Miguel Lopes in the 24th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as SC Angueira's Mariano Vaz slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Vicente Branco. That made the score 2-0 after 28 minutes of play. After having played for 31 minutes, Mariano Vaz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SC Angueira's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mariano Vaz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Gabriel Costa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 33rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Mário Faria's late challenge caught a Benavente's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Mário Faria helped the player get up and apologised. Gabriel Costa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Mariano Vaz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

If Mário Barbosa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Miguel Lopes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jaime Luz having to interfere. Gabriel Costa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 59th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Bento Simões had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bento Simões took the ball and in the 65 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Vicente Branco. Vicente Branco dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. Benavente's Vicente Branco played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mariano Vaz in the 72nd minute of play. If Miguel Lopes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 82 minutes into the match, SC Angueira's goal looked a bit too open when Gabriel Costa came free, but Jaime Luz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 85 minutes into the match, SC Angueira's goalkeeper Jaime Luz had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Miguel Lopes. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. SC Angueira's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
