In the 4th minute Júlio Luz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vicente Branco saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gabriel Costa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 9th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Miguel Lopes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Cândido Azevedo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 16 minutes into the game, Bento Cardoso was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Benavente's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave SC Bemfeita the free kick. Bento Cardoso kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. In the 17th minute of the match Amadeu Leiria shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Vicente Branco showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Lourenço Morais received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Vicente Branco tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cristóvão Neto kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. After having played for 30 minutes, Lourenço Morais managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SC Bemfeita's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lourenço Morais was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 33rd minute, Lourenço Morais made a precise shot to the right of Vicente Branco. Benavente's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. Júlio Luz struck a weak shot in the 36th minute. Vicente Branco didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SC Bemfeita. 41 minutes into the game, Benavente's Miguel Lopes nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Cândido Azevedo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Júlio Luz made a kick off. Cristóvão Neto shot the penalty kick right outside the post. When Gabriel Costa came up free with the goalie in the 56th minute, the Benavente fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gabriel Costa couldn't finish the play. Mário Barbosa hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. SC Bemfeita's Cândido Azevedo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 67th minute of the match, managed to save SC Bemfeita from getting a goal against them. Mário Barbosa kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. When SC Bemfeita's Lourenço Morais in the 72nd minute got a chance for a shot 72nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Benavente's goalie prevented a goal. In the 79th minute, Lourenço Morais got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Vicente Branco showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lourenço Morais in the 87th minute of the match. Miguel Lopes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Cândido Azevedo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 92nd minute, Miguel Lopes fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. SC Bemfeita's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
