After a rather tough play, SC Calheiros's António Leite got a free kick in the 13th minute. SC Calheiros's David Alves played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vasco Vaz in the 17th minute of play. Diamantino Garcia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Mariano Guarda had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 25th minute, Albertino Gueifão hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Américo Paredes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gaspar Gonçalves took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 34th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for David Guerreiro. SC Gravateira's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 35th minute, Mariano Guarda got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, SC Gravateira's André Pacheco got a free kick in the 39th minute. If Mariano Guarda had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Vasco Vaz stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Diamantino Garcia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Vasco Vaz in the 65th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck David Alves prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Diamantino Garcia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 74th minute, Mariano Guarda got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Américo Paredes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without David Guerreiro having to interfere. Mariano Guarda received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. David Guerreiro came out and tried to block the shot, but Mariano Guarda slotted it home off the left post making it 0-1 in the 78th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Diamantino Garcia in the 81st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg David Alves saved SC Calheiros from getting behind. In the 85th minute, Diamantino Garcia hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, SC Gravateira's Albertino Gueifão got a free kick in the 86th minute. A collision led to SC Gravateira getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Armando Cunha hit a great ball. David Guerreiro made a fantastic save in the 92nd minute, when Américo Paredes sent off a good shot on target. In the 95th match minute, SC Gravateira was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vítor Valente to maneuver through the defense. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. SC Calheiros walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
