Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) After 3 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Verdisao FC! Alexandre Miranda made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hugo Tavares in the 9th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Verdisao FC's zone, Luís Moutinho stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alexandre Miranda came out of the goal and Luís Moutinho tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hugo Tavares in the 16th minute of play forced Verdisao FC's goalkeeper Alexandre Miranda to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hugo Tavares took the ball and in the 18 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Alexandre Miranda. Alexandre Miranda dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. 21 minutes into the game, Júlio Barbosa recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Francisco Guarda. Júlio Barbosa showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-2. If Rui Gueifão had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 35th minute, Manuel Porto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Júlio Barbosa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 40 minutes into the match, Verdisao FC's Rui Gueifão sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Francisco Guarda narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 41st minute, Manuel Porto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Rui Gueifão received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 48th minute. Francisco Guarda tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Hugo Tavares made a kick off. Francisco Guarda showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rui Gueifão, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. 57 minutes into the game, Manuel Carvalho was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Verdisao FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Espargo the free kick. After 57 played minutes Verdisao FC got a freekick which was hit by Manuel Carvalho. Hugo Tavares received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Alexandre Miranda tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Hugo Tavares had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 73rd match minute, Verdisao FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Manuel Carvalho to maneuver through the defense. Hugo Tavares received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Alexandre Miranda tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rui Gueifão succeeded in the game's 82nd minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 2-2. When the match clock showed 90 minutes, the score became 3-2 when Rui Gueifão sped through Espargo's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Francisco Guarda. After 96 played minutes Verdisao FC got a freekick which was hit by António Resende. Verdisao FC's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
