Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Vítor Ramos kicked off to start the match. Eusébio Leal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Xavier Castro, who was totally free with the ball in the 4th minute. The supporters of SC Zebral booed when SC Cando was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Humberto Moniz didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jacinto Martins during the 16th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. When Jaime Borba fell near the penalty area in the 22nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored SC Zebral's protests and gave Jaime Borba a yellow card for diving instead. In the 22nd match minute, SC Zebral was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jaime Borba to maneuver through the defense. André Luz charged in rather forcefully in the 26th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed André Luz the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 26 played minutes SC Cando got a freekick which was hit by André Luz. In the 30th minute the ball was on its way in behind SC Cando's goalkeeper Eusébio Leal, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Xavier Castro struck a weak shot in the 32nd minute. Eusébio Leal didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SC Zebral. In the 38th minute Vítor Ramos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Armindo Coelho saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 39th match minute, SC Zebral was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jaime Borba to maneuver through the defense. Humberto Moniz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Xavier Castro made a kick off. After having played for 53 minutes, Xavier Castro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SC Zebral's supporters crossed their fingers, but Xavier Castro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Vítor Ramos's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Armindo Coelho read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 73rd minute of play. In a very dangerous position, a player in SC Zebral fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 77th minute. Penalty! André Luz walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. In the 82nd minute, Vítor Ramos fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Armindo Coelho, passed just outside the right post. Humberto Faro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 84th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to SC Cando getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Cristiano Machado hit a great ball. Humberto Faro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eusébio Leal having to interfere.
