Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Henrique Barros started the match with the kick off. After 6 minutes, Humberto Rodrigues mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Amparo and the SC Almodovar players grew even worse after the yellow card. Cristiano Jesus had in the 8thth minute some difficulties stopping Adelino Matias's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. The supporters of Amparo booed when SC Almodovar was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Adolfo Bessa didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Amparo's António Leiria got a free kick in the 16th minute. When Henrique Barros came up free with the goalie in the 26th minute, the SC Almodovar fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Henrique Barros couldn't finish the play. 30 minutes into the match, Miguel Neto dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Artur Pires, 1-0. After 33 played minutes Amparo got a freekick which was hit by Diamantino Leal. In the 35th minute Bento Gueifão shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cristiano Jesus saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 36 minutes into the game, Miguel Neto recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Artur Pires. Miguel Neto showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. Adolfo Bessa was shown his second yellow card after 44 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Miguel Neto to make the kick off. After 52 played minutes SC Almodovar got a freekick which was hit by Adelino Matias. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Henrique Barros during the 55th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, SC Almodovar's Henrique Barros got a free kick in the 55th minute. Bento Gueifão could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 57th minute of the match, but Cristiano Jesus made a huge save. The Amparo fans' excitement grew in the 62nd match minute when Amparo's Miguel Neto looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Amparo's Cristiano Jesus proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 66th minute of the match, managed to save Amparo from getting a goal against them. The supporters of SC Almodovar booed when Amparo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Diamantino Leal didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 72 minutes of play, SC Almodovar's Bento Gueifão made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Cristiano Jesus was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Bento Gueifão had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Henrique Barros sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. During the 80th minute of the match Henrique Barros completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Henrique Barros a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. After a rather tough play, SC Almodovar's Henrique Barros got a free kick in the 80th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 93rd minute, António Leiria managed to get in a good position for a shot. Amparo's supporters rose to their feet, but António Leiria was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Artur Pires breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 94 minutes into the match, SC Almodovar's goal looked a bit too open when António Leiria came free, but Artur Pires reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Amparo were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of SC Almodovar for a fine match.
