The SC Seiceira fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. If Alfredo Martins had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to SC Seiceira getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Cristiano Branco hit a great ball. SC Seiceira's Hugo Sá played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cláudio Leão in the 15th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sebastião Borba got free with Hugo Sá in the 18th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Cláudio Leão received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Hugo Sá tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the match had gone on for 31 minutes, Cláudio Leão took a quick shot and it went in 1-1 without a chance for Hugo Sá to make any attempt to save it. Cláudio Leão sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 40 minutes into the match, SC Ovadas's goal looked a bit too open when Filipe Assis came free, but Mário Ramos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fernando Cruz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mário Ramos having to interfere. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The wind increased when Cláudio Leão made the kick off in the second half. Mário Ramos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Filipe Assis, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. Mário Ramos stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Filipe Assis's shot from short distance in the 66th minute. Sebastião Borba sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. SC Ovadas's Cláudio Leão got a good chance for a goal in the 74th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of SC Seiceira booed when SC Ovadas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cláudio Leão didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sebastião Borba fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hugo Sá having to interfere. After having played for 84 minutes, Cláudio Leão managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SC Ovadas's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cláudio Leão was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sebastião Borba in the 87th minute of play forced SC Seiceira's goalkeeper Hugo Sá to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cláudio Leão received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Hugo Sá tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some careless play in the SC Ovadas defense, Alfredo Martins kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Mário Ramos. The SC Ovadas fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Mário Ramos should have stopped the shot. The SC Ovadas supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching SC Seiceira's performance. The match ended with a win for SC Seiceira.
