Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) 6 minutes into the match, Baguim's goal looked a bit too open when Viriato Neves came free, but Diamantino Brás reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Baguim's Delfim Gonçalves got a free kick in the 8th minute. Eusébio Azevedo, 9 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Diamantino Brás showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joaquim Sá, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. Diamantino Brás made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Viriato Neves in the 13th minute of play. If Viriato Neves had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Grova FC booed when Baguim was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Delfim Gonçalves didn't get a good kick on the ball. Grova FC's Eusébio Azevedo couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 17th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Baguim. 19 minutes into the match, Grova FC's Viriato Neves sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Diamantino Brás narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 22nd minute, Viriato Neves managed to get in a good position for a shot. Grova FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Viriato Neves was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Diamantino Brás breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After having played for 23 minutes, Viriato Neves managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Grova FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Viriato Neves was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of Baguim booed when Grova FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Francisco Marques didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 25 minutes, Álvaro Neto managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Baguim's supporters crossed their fingers, but Álvaro Neto was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Grova FC's Viriato Neves got a good chance for a goal in the 34th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 36th minute, Joaquim Sá got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 43rd minute Álvaro Neto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nuno Ferro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Baguim players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Grova FC were winning 0-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Joaquim Sá stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 51st minute, Viriato Neves managed to get in a good position for a shot. Grova FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Viriato Neves was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Diamantino Brás breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Humberto Carvalho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Nuno Ferro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 56 minutes into the match, Grova FC's goal looked a bit too open when Humberto Carvalho came free, but Nuno Ferro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Álvaro Neto in the 67th minute of play forced Grova FC's goalkeeper Nuno Ferro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 69th minute Humberto Carvalho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nuno Ferro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Álvaro Neto recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 71st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Bernardo Gueifão fell near the penalty area in the 72nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Grova FC's protests and gave Bernardo Gueifão a yellow card for diving instead. After 72 played minutes Grova FC got a freekick which was hit by Bernardo Gueifão. 80 minutes into the match, Baguim's Álvaro Neto sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Nuno Ferro narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Viriato Neves who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 85thth minute tested the skills of Diamantino Brás when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After some careless play in the Grova FC defense, Humberto Carvalho kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Nuno Ferro. The Grova FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Nuno Ferro should have stopped the shot. In the 95th match minute, Baguim was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fábio Macedo to maneuver through the defense. In the 96th minute Joaquim Sá shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Diamantino Brás saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
