Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Raul Maia took the kick off in the first half of the match. António Brito hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. In the 11th minute, António Brito hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 14th minute, Joaquim Brito managed to get in a good position for a shot. Aldriz's supporters rose to their feet, but Joaquim Brito was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Joel Bessa breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 18th minute Raul Maia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joaquim Cabral saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Joaquim Cabral showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jorge Amorim in the 23rd minute of the match. With his leg Joel Bessa managed to avoid a goal in the 25thth minute, when Aldriz's Pedro Leite fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Viriato Anjos hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. Aldriz's Pedro Leite got a good chance for a goal in the 27th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Azambuja FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 30th minute, when Joaquim Brito scored to the left of an out of position Joel Bessa, making the score, 1-0. Joaquim Cabral stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Raul Maia's shot from short distance in the 36th minute. Pedro Leite recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 40th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Joaquim Brito had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jorge Amorim received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Joaquim Cabral tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

When Aldriz's Pedro Leite in the 56th minute got a chance for a shot 56th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Azambuja FC's goalie prevented a goal. After a defensive mix-up in Azambuja FC's zone, Joaquim Brito stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Joel Bessa came out of the goal and Joaquim Brito tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Pedro Leite came up free with the goalie in the 66th minute, the Aldriz fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Pedro Leite couldn't finish the play. Jorge Amorim fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joaquim Cabral having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Raul Maia in the 70th minute of play forced Aldriz's goalkeeper Joaquim Cabral to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 72nd minute of the match Azambuja FC got a corner. Aldriz's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Adelino Vale ran over to the corner to take the kick. When Jorge Amorim came up free with the goalie in the 77th minute, the Azambuja FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jorge Amorim couldn't finish the play. 78 minutes into the game, José Pinto was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Aldriz's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Azambuja FC the free kick. José Pinto kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. Pedro Leite sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Joel Bessa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pedro Leite in the 87th minute of play. After 88 played minutes Azambuja FC got a freekick which was hit by Viriato Anjos. In the 90th match minute, Aldriz was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Diamantino Anjos to maneuver through the defense. 96 minutes into the match, Aldriz's goalkeeper Joaquim Cabral had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jorge Amorim. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
