Artur Ramos came out of the goal and Eusébio Matos tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Alberto Esteves hit a great freekick 4 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eusébio Matos in the 5th minute of play forced SC Jazente's goalkeeper Artur Ramos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Artur Ramos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eusébio Matos in the 14th minute of the match. In the 16th minute of the match, Gil Leão tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Eusébio Tavares saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 18th minute Gil Leão shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eusébio Tavares saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Artur Ramos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eusébio Matos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 20 minutes into the match, Eusébio Matos notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of SC Jazente's Artur Ramos. Artur Ramos was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Artur Ramos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eusébio Matos, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Eusébio Matos in the 29th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Artur Ramos saved SC Jazente from getting behind. After 30 minutes, Eusébio Matos made it 0-2 with a short kick to the right side. SC Jazente's Artur Ramos tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Júlio Gaspar's late challenge caught a SC Jazente's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Júlio Gaspar helped the player get up and apologised. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 37th minute of the game. One of Marrancos FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of SC Jazente:s goal. In the 43rd match minute, SC Jazente was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by David Queirós to maneuver through the defense. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

Eusébio Tavares made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gil Leão in the 54th minute of play. In the 55th minute, SC Jazente's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Gonçalo Martins fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Eusébio Tavares stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jorge Araújo's shot from short distance in the 58th minute. In the 60th minute Gil Leão shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eusébio Tavares saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 63 minutes into the game, Gonçalo Martins was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Marrancos FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave SC Jazente the free kick. Gonçalo Martins kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. In the 67th minute Jorge Araújo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eusébio Tavares saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Marrancos FC's Eusébio Matos slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Artur Ramos. That made the score 1-3 after 68 minutes of play. Jorge Araújo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Eusébio Matos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Artur Ramos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. SC Jazente's Miguel Andrade got a good chance for a goal in the 81st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Jorge Araújo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Júlio Gaspar was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 89 minutes had been played. After 90 played minutes Marrancos FC got a freekick which was hit by Júlio Gaspar. In the 91st minute, Jorge Araújo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 96th match minute, Marrancos FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gonçalo Martins to maneuver through the defense. Eusébio Tavares showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gil Leão in the 97th minute of the match. Miguel Andrade hit a great freekick 98 minutes into the match.
