Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Afonso Freitas started the match with the kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 7th minute, Joaquim Matias managed to get in a good position for a shot. Deimaos's supporters rose to their feet, but Joaquim Matias was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Afonso Alves breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. André Pacheco recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 10th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of SC Queirela booed when Deimaos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fernando Queirós didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jorge Ferreira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Armindo Alves having to interfere. Deimaos's Armindo Alves played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jorge Ferreira in the 18th minute of play. If Jorge Ferreira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 32ndth minute of the game Jorge Ferreira who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Deimaos's Armindo Alves was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 35th match minute, Deimaos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Manuel Gonçalves to maneuver through the defense. Deimaos's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Tomás Barros in the 42nd minute. In the 42nd minute, Fernando Queirós hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Fernando Queirós struck a weak shot in the 46th minute. Afonso Alves didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Deimaos. After a rather tough play, SC Queirela's Lucas Maia got a free kick in the 47th minute. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jorge Ferreira was the one to do the kick off. Afonso Alves showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joaquim Matias, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. André Pacheco scored 0-1 in the 57th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Armindo Alves, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Gustavo Bessa charged in rather forcefully in the 61st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gustavo Bessa the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 60th minute of the game. One of SC Queirela:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Deimaos:s goal. In the 62nd minute there was a penalty for Deimaos. Tomás Barros stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Afonso Alves. 1-1. In the 67thth minute of the game Afonso Freitas who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but SC Queirela's Afonso Alves was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. André Pacheco blasted a shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Armindo Alves having to make a save. Through an outstanding action, after 73 minutes, Armindo Alves successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. 90 minutes into the game, Sandro Gaspar was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. SC Queirela's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Deimaos the free kick. In the 90th minute, Sandro Gaspar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Joaquim Matias sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. For all the effort they put into the match, the SC Queirela players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Deimaos.
