Thanks to some nice moves Alexandre Alves could shoot a difficult shot in the 9th minute, which Vasco Costa however easily saved by the left post. Adolfo Borba fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rogério Bessa having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Duarte Cardoso during the 19th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Manuel Esteves sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 35th minute Adolfo Borba shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rogério Bessa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Vasco Costa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alexandre Alves in the 37th minute of play. The supporters of Roque booed when Pocarica FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Duarte Cardoso didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Pocarica FC's Xavier Torres got a free kick in the 45th minute. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Manuel Esteves to make the kick off. After 53 played minutes Pocarica FC got a freekick which was hit by Duarte Cardoso. A nice corner shot did that Hugo Pinho got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Rogério Bessa quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Alexandre Alves sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Alexandre Alves received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Vasco Costa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Manuel Esteves had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 68th minute, André Pinto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 71 minutes into the match, Roque's goal looked a bit too open when Manuel Esteves came free, but Vasco Costa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alexandre Alves might have been able to make a better finish in the 72nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Vasco Costa. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Alexandre Alves ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 74th minute, Roque's Adolfo Borba dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-1. In a very dangerous position, a player in Roque fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 84th minute. Penalty! In the 86th minute there was a penalty for Pocarica FC. Miguel Neto stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Vasco Costa. 1-1. Duarte Cardoso kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. Hugo Pinho was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 92nd played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. In the 97th minute of the match, Joel Lima got a very nice opportunity to score, but Rogério Bessa was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
