Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Cabreiros's Oliveira Costa started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 11 played minutes Ceara FC got a freekick which was hit by Cláudio Ferro. The supporters of Ceara FC booed when Cabreiros was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Emílio Morais didn't get a good kick on the ball. Domingos Sá struck a weak shot in the 25th minute. Cristóvão Luz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ceara FC. Emílio Morais received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. David Lisboa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Oliveira Costa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Cláudio Ferro was the one to do the kick off. Cristóvão Luz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cláudio Ferro, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. In the 56th match minute, Ceara FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lucas Coimbra to maneuver through the defense. In the 60thth minute of the game Oliveira Costa who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ceara FC's David Lisboa was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Oliveira Costa came up free with the goalie in the 62nd minute, the Cabreiros fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Oliveira Costa couldn't finish the play. David Lisboa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emílio Morais in the 63rd minute of play. Cabreiros's Emílio Morais got a good chance for a goal in the 72nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 74th match minute, Cabreiros was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rui Cunha to maneuver through the defense. In the 79thth minute of the game Emílio Morais who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ceara FC's David Lisboa was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. A collision led to Cabreiros getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Emílio Morais hit a great ball. For all the effort they put into the match, the Ceara FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Cabreiros.
