Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Adelino Nogueira got the match started through his kick off. Mariano Nascimento struck a weak shot in the 4th minute. Paulo Rodrigues didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cabreiros. José Magalhães blasted a shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Cristóvão Luz having to make a save. After 10 played minutes Cabreiros got a freekick which was hit by Afonso Neto. Adelino Nogueira recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 26th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 31 minutes into the match, Caldas FC's goal looked a bit too open when Emílio Morais came free, but Paulo Rodrigues reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Adelino Nogueira struck a weak shot in the 43rd minute. Cristóvão Luz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Caldas FC. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

After 54 played minutes Cabreiros got a freekick which was hit by Afonso Neto. In the 57th minute, José Magalhães left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Caldas FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. Paulo Rodrigues made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Oliveira Costa in the 62nd minute of play. Emílio Morais fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Paulo Rodrigues having to interfere. Vítor Lisboa's late challenge caught a Caldas FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Vítor Lisboa helped the player get up and apologised. In the 69th minute, Vítor Lisboa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Pedro Guerreiro took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 70th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Cristóvão Luz. Cabreiros's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 72 minutes into the match, José Magalhães notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of Cabreiros's Cristóvão Luz. Cristóvão Luz was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. With his leg Paulo Rodrigues managed to avoid a goal in the 76thth minute, when Cabreiros's Emílio Morais fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Adelino Nogueira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Vicente Neto charged in rather forcefully in the 81st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Vicente Neto the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Vicente Neto kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. After having played for 84 minutes, Oliveira Costa managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cabreiros's supporters crossed their fingers, but Oliveira Costa was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Emílio Morais could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 86th minute of the match, but Paulo Rodrigues made a huge save. Oliveira Costa struck a weak shot in the 88th minute. After 89 played minutes Caldas FC got a freekick which was hit by Sandro Porto. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
