Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Daniel Fontes started the match with the kick off. Gabriel Barros struck a weak shot in the 3rd minute. José Moura didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Vargos. Lúcio Vale took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Fontes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gabriel Barros could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 7th minute of the match, but José Moura made a huge save. João Luz took the ball and in the 11 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Lúcio Vale. Lúcio Vale dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. If Gabriel Barros had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If João Luz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 29 minutes into the game, João Luz cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Lúcio Vale was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. If André Queirós had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell André Queirós to make the kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers André Queirós in the 54th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg José Moura saved Picaranha from getting behind. Gabriel Barros might have been able to make a better finish in the 58th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over José Moura. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gabriel Barros ran back to his position shaking his head. If André Queirós had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. José Moura showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Viriato Nunes in the 62nd minute of the match. Vargos's Lúcio Vale played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Fontes in the 68th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 69th minute, João Luz managed to get in a good position for a shot. Picaranha's supporters rose to their feet, but João Luz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lúcio Vale breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Daniel Fontes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lúcio Vale having to interfere. Vargos's Lúcio Vale proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 80th minute of the match, managed to save Vargos from getting a goal against them. Lúcio Vale was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but João Luz showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-3 in the 80 minute of play. João Luz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Picaranha booed when Vargos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Domingos Mendes didn't get a good kick on the ball. 88 minutes had been played when some careless play by Vargos's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Manuel Castro was slow to take the kick. During this time Picaranha's players had a chance to rest. After taking down the ball on Picaranha's corner Manuel Castro fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Lúcio Vale quite easily take care of the ball. If Gabriel Barros had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. João Luz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Nuno Simões fell near the penalty area in the 95th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Vargos's protests and gave Nuno Simões a yellow card for diving instead.
