Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Tomás Guarda got the match started through his kick off. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by José Oliveira during the 7th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, SC Cristelos's José Oliveira got a free kick in the 7th minute. A collision led to SC Estela getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Cristóvão Guarda hit a great ball. SC Cristelos's Ricardo Fernandes got a good chance for a goal in the 23rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Albertino Paiva showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Albertino Reis in the 28th minute of the match. Albertino Paiva made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Albertino Reis in the 31st minute of play. 33 minutes into the match, Miguel Veiga had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Alfredo Pedroso. SC Estela's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Miguel Veiga was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 36th minute, Ricardo Fernandes managed to get in a good position for a shot. SC Cristelos's supporters rose to their feet, but Ricardo Fernandes was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alfredo Pedroso breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Tomás Guarda came up free with the goalie in the 40th minute, the SC Estela fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tomás Guarda couldn't finish the play. Joaquim Coimbra sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. SC Cristelos's Albertino Paiva played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Albertino Reis in the 46th minute of play. Albertino Paiva showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tomás Guarda, who was totally free with the ball in the 48th minute. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ricardo Fernandes to make the kick off. Miguel Veiga struck a weak shot in the 53rd minute. Alfredo Pedroso didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SC Cristelos. Albertino Paiva took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tomás Guarda, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Tomás Guarda had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 63rd minute, Cristóvão Guarda hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Alfredo Pedroso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Miguel Veiga in the 65th minute of play. In the 73rd minute Tomás Guarda shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Albertino Paiva saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Albertino Reis came free with the goalkeeper in the 75th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Albertino Paiva could save by the left post. A collision led to SC Cristelos getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. José Oliveira hit a great ball. In the 78th minute Tomás Guarda shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Albertino Paiva saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 79th minute, Tomás Guarda ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Albertino Paiva was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. After a rather tough play, SC Estela's Manuel Vaz got a free kick in the 82nd minute. Tomás Cruz, 83 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Ricardo Fernandes took the ball and in the 91 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Alfredo Pedroso. Alfredo Pedroso dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1.
