Nuno Moura charged in rather forcefully in the 7th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Nuno Moura the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Alberto Pires took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Rocha, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Daniel Rocha had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rui Macedo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Bagaco's Gabriel Aleixo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Manuel Machado in the 21st minute of play. If Rui Macedo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Lucas Amaral came up free with the goalie in the 34th minute, the Bagaco fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lucas Amaral couldn't finish the play. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Daniel Rocha to make the kick off. 53 minutes into the match, Padrao FC's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Rocha came free, but Alberto Pires reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 64th minute Rui Macedo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gabriel Aleixo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gabriel Aleixo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nuno Moura in the 65th minute of the match. Amílcar Rodrigues hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. Gabriel Aleixo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rui Macedo in the 94th minute of the match. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
