Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Henrique Setúbal got the match started through his kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 2nd minute, Carlos Borba managed to get in a good position for a shot. The tension between the Gondiao FC and the Fagulhos players grew even worse after the yellow card. Mário Correia hit a great freekick 4 minutes into the match. 9 minutes into the match, Hélder Henriques notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Gondiao FC's Cristiano Pinheiro. Cristiano Pinheiro was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Nuno Veiga made a fantastic save in the 17th minute, when André Rodrigues sent off a good shot on target. A collision led to Gondiao FC getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Hélder Henriques fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cristiano Pinheiro having to interfere. Júlio Garcia's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Cristiano Pinheiro read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 27th minute of play. After 29 minutes, Carlos Borba mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Fagulhos and the Gondiao FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 29 played minutes Fagulhos got a freekick which was hit by Carlos Borba. When the match had gone on for 32 minutes, Henrique Setúbal took a quick shot and it went in 1-1 without a chance for Nuno Veiga to make any attempt to save it. André Rodriguess short, quick shot in the 37thth minute got Nuno Veiga to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. If Henrique Setúbal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nuno Veiga took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Henrique Setúbal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Júlio Garcia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Cristiano Pinheiro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Júlio Garcia in the 48th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Cristiano Pinheiro saved Gondiao FC from getting behind. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.
