Perofico FC's António Cruz got a good chance for a goal in the 5th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 19 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Perofico FC! Ricardo Delgado received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Gil Brito tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If António Cruz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rui Coelho in the 32nd minute of play forced Perofico FC's goalkeeper Nuno Dias to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ricardo Delgado sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 36th minute, Ricardo Delgado managed to get in a good position for a shot. Perofico FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Ricardo Delgado was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gil Brito breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After some fancy dribbling in the 44th minute, Abel Moutinho managed to get in a good position for a shot. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Rui Coelho to make the kick off. After 53 minutes of play, Anreade FC's Abel Moutinho made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Nuno Dias was left in no man's land by his defense there! Gil Brito showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ricardo Delgado in the 58th minute of the match. In the 68th minute Rui Coelho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nuno Dias saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The long shot by Alexandre Borges in the 72nd minute really tested Nuno Dias's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Gil Brito made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from António Cruz in the 74th minute of play. If Rui Coelho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alfredo Brás took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 91st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Gil Brito. Anreade FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Perofico FC's Nuno Dias proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 93rd minute of the match, managed to save Perofico FC from getting a goal against them. Ricardo Delgado fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gil Brito having to interfere. The Anreade FC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
