SC Arsena's Manuel Moura played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carlos Freitas in the 14th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Carlos Fontes in the 16th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Manuel Moura prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 21st minute the ball was on its way in behind SC Arsena's goalkeeper Manuel Moura, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a rather tough play, SC Arsena's Eduardo Lima got a free kick in the 22nd minute. If Carlos Freitas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Domingos Vale received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Catarino Cruz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Miguel Borba kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. In the 33rd minute, Basílio Viana made a precise shot to the right of Catarino Cruz. Gilvrazinos 's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Gilvrazinos reached it. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Carlos Freitas made the kick off in the second half. Joaquim Moreira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Manuel Moura made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carlos Fontes in the 59th minute of play. Carlos Freitas did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-1 to the left of a surprised Manuel Moura 62 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in SC Arsena's zone, Carlos Freitas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Manuel Moura came out of the goal and Carlos Freitas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Carlos Fontes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Manuel Moura tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Domingos Vale fell near the penalty area in the 74th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored SC Arsena's protests and gave Domingos Vale a yellow card for diving instead. In the 74th minute, Domingos Vale hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Gilvrazinos getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Jorge Bessa hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Gilvrazinos 's Miguel Borba got a free kick in the 80th minute. After 81 played minutes, SC Arsena's Rafael Amaro shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Catarino Cruz came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. After 94 minutes, Cristóvão Pires mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Gilvrazinos and the SC Arsena players grew even worse after the yellow card. Cristóvão Pires kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. In the 96th minute Basílio Viana shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Catarino Cruz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the final whistle sounded Gilvrazinos left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than SC Arsena.
