Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Humberto Leal took the kick off in the first half of the match. The supporters of Azere FC booed when Guardizela FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. João Cardoso didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Humberto Leal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 9 minutes, Eduardo Silva mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Azere FC and the Guardizela FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Xavier Ribeiro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Paulo Carneiro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Lourenço Fonseca tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Paulo Carneiro in the 17th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Lourenço Fonseca prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Delfim Lima made an important save on a dangerous shot by Xavier Ribeiro in the 21st minute. Xavier Ribeiro could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 23rd minute of the match, but Delfim Lima made a huge save. Bernardo Macedo's late challenge caught a Azere FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Bernardo Macedo helped the player get up and apologised. Bernardo Macedo hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. Xavier Ribeiro didn't miss a given chance and shot in short distance 1-0 via right post in the game's 25th minute. Azere FC's supporters showed their exhuberating excitement! When Bernardo Freitas came up free with the goalie in the 30th minute, the Guardizela FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bernardo Freitas couldn't finish the play. 32 minutes into the game, Guardizela FC's Paulo Carneiro nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Lourenço Fonseca made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Xavier Ribeiro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 39th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Paulo Carneiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Eduardo Silva kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

After a rather tough play, Azere FC's Sebastião Machado got a free kick in the 55th minute. Guardizela FC's Paulo Carneiro got a good chance for a goal in the 56th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Delfim Lima didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Xavier Ribeiro went, in the 59th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. In the 63rd minute Xavier Ribeiro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Delfim Lima saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bernardo Freitas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 67th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Delfim Lima showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Humberto Leal, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. Eduardo Silva hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. In the 78th minute, Bernardo Freitas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Bernardo Freitas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lourenço Fonseca having to interfere. In the 84th minute, Paulo Carneiro got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Eduardo Silva was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 91 minutes had been played. The supporters of Guardizela FC booed when Azere FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eduardo Silva didn't get a good kick on the ball. 95 minutes had been played when some careless play by Azere FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Álvaro Matos was slow to take the kick. During this time Guardizela FC's players had a chance to rest.
