Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Alfredo Barros kicked off to start the match. 4 minutes into the match, SC Esqueiros's goal looked a bit too open when Viriato Matos came free, but Marco Vale reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 8 minutes into the match, Caratao's Viriato Matos sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Marco Vale narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Hugo Pereira charged in rather forcefully in the 14th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Hugo Pereira the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Hugo Pereira kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. Alexandre Baptista scored 1-0 in the 18th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Vasco Baptista, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. André Amaro's late challenge caught a SC Esqueiros's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. André Amaro helped the player get up and apologised. In the 23rd minute, André Amaro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Vasco Baptista took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alfredo Barros, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Marco Vale showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cláudio Correia in the 31st minute of the match. Marco Vale showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cláudio Correia, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. Viriato Matos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 34th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 42nd minute Tiago Andrade collided with an opponent which caused him a fractured collar bone. André Amaro kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

52 minutes into the match, Alexandre Baptista notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Caratao's Vasco Baptista. Vasco Baptista was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. With his leg Marco Vale managed to avoid a goal in the 58thth minute, when Caratao's Cláudio Correia fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Vasco Baptista took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alexandre Baptista, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Alfredo Barros scored 3-0 in the 62nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Vasco Baptista, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After some fancy dribbling in the 66th minute, Cláudio Correia managed to get in a good position for a shot. Caratao's supporters rose to their feet, but Cláudio Correia was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Marco Vale breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Alexandre Baptista blasted a shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Vasco Baptista having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Viriato Matos in the 72nd minute of play forced SC Esqueiros's goalkeeper Marco Vale to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cláudio Correia could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 74th minute of the match, but Marco Vale made a huge save. The supporters of SC Esqueiros booed when Caratao was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mariano Leite didn't get a good kick on the ball. Alexandre Baptista blasted a shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Vasco Baptista having to make a save. SC Esqueiros's Alexandre Baptista got a good chance for a goal in the 89th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a little luck, SC Esqueiros's Marco Vale got control of the ball when Cláudio Correia tried to sneak it across the goal line. Alfredo Barros charged in rather forcefully in the 93rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Alfredo Barros the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Alfredo Barros kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by José Simões during the 95th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 95 played minutes Caratao got a freekick which was hit by José Simões.
