Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Daniel Figueiredo started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. After 3 played minutes SC Canado got a freekick which was hit by Nuno Aleixo. Alfredo Faria showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luís Faro, who was totally free with the ball in the 4th minute. In the 7th minute Daniel Figueiredo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ricardo Resende saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 11thth minute of the game Luís Abreu who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but SC Canado's Alfredo Faria was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Luís Faro came up free with the goalie in the 13th minute, the Taboadela fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Luís Faro couldn't finish the play. After having played for 20 minutes, Daniel Figueiredo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SC Canado's supporters crossed their fingers, but Daniel Figueiredo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Luís Faro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alfredo Faria made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luís Faro in the 27th minute of play. Inácio Cardoso sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Taboadela's Ricardo Resende played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Figueiredo in the 32nd minute of play. In the 32nd match minute, Taboadela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Artur Assunção to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to SC Canado getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Alexandre Guarda hit a great ball. With an all-out effort, SC Canado's Ricardo Resende threw himself towards the right post 45 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Daniel Figueiredo, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. 47 minutes into the game, Luís Abreu cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Alfredo Faria was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Luís Abreu stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Inácio Cardoso received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Ricardo Resende tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 55th match minute, Taboadela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fernando Moutinho to maneuver through the defense. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Fernando Moutinho during the 60th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. When the match had been going on for 64 minutes, Taboadela's David Garcia got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Alfredo Faria. Luís Abreu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alfredo Faria having to interfere. The penalty shot was made by David Garcia, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of SC Canado's Alfredo Faria. 1-3. In the 87th minute, Francisco Pires hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Alexandre Guarda took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 88th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Ricardo Resende. Taboadela's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Inácio Cardoso sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 91 minutes, Artur Assunção mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Taboadela and the SC Canado players grew even worse after the yellow card. The SC Canado fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-3. 100 minutes into the match, SC Canado's goal looked a bit too open when Luís Abreu came free, but Alfredo Faria reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to SC Canado getting a freekick after 102 minutes play. Henrique Gonçalves hit a great ball. Taboadela were awarded a corner in the 105th minute after SC Canado's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. David Garcia took the corner. The Taboadela players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
