Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) SC Virtelo's Mário Castro started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After some fancy dribbling in the 6th minute, Artur Morais managed to get in a good position for a shot. SC Virtelo's supporters rose to their feet, but Artur Morais was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Manuel Lisboa breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Manuel Lisboa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Artur Morais in the 15th minute of play. The supporters of SC Virtelo booed when SC Saltadouro was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eusébio Azevedo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Manuel Lisboa didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Mário Castro went, in the 17th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. In the 21st minute of the match, José Porto tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Daniel Matias saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. After a defensive mix-up in SC Virtelo's zone, Luís Amorim stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Daniel Matias came out of the goal and Luís Amorim tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Xavier Freitas kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. In the 36th minute of the match Lúcio Santos shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Manuel Lisboa showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Artur Morais recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 37th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 39th minute, Mário Castro managed to get in a good position for a shot. SC Virtelo's supporters rose to their feet, but Mário Castro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Manuel Lisboa breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to SC Saltadouro getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Xavier Freitas hit a great ball. Artur Morais received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Manuel Lisboa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 47 minutes, José Porto managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SC Saltadouro's supporters crossed their fingers, but José Porto was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After the first half SC Virtelo were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when José Porto made the kick off in the second half. Mário Castro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Manuel Lisboa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Artur Morais had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 59 minutes into the match, SC Saltadouro's goal looked a bit too open when Mário Castro came free, but Manuel Lisboa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A hard shot 62 in the game by Artur Morais from a close distance when the talented Manuel Lisboa managed to make a qualified save. SC Saltadouro's players were relieved. In the 64th minute José Porto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Daniel Matias saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 65 played minutes SC Virtelo got a freekick which was hit by João Costa. Daniel Matias didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Luís Amorim went, in the 69th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luís Amorim in the 73rd minute of play forced SC Virtelo's goalkeeper Daniel Matias to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 81st minute Mário Castro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Manuel Lisboa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to SC Saltadouro getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Xavier Freitas hit a great ball. Manuel Lisboa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mário Castro in the 87th minute of the match. José Porto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Daniel Matias tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Luís Amorim had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 93 minutes into the game, José Porto cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Daniel Matias was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. SC Saltadouro had won after a very even match.
