Rui Teixeira was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Daniel Matias made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gaspar Cunha in the 18th minute. Daniel Matias took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jorge Lima, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 23 minutes into the game, Gaspar Cunha cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Daniel Matias was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Gaspar Cunha could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 26th minute of the match, but Daniel Matias made a huge save. In the 29th minute Mário Castro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rui Teixeira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mário Castro struck a weak shot in the 30th minute. Rui Teixeira didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SC Virtelo. Jorge Lima received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Daniel Matias tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-3.

Artur Morais who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 56thth minute tested the skills of Rui Teixeira when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 59 minutes into the game, João Costa was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. SC Virtelo's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Figueirinha FC the free kick. Artur Morais fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rui Teixeira having to interfere. In the 63rd minute, Artur Morais got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gaspar Cunha in the 68th minute of play forced SC Virtelo's goalkeeper Daniel Matias to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rui Teixeira made a fantastic save in the 70th minute, when Artur Morais sent off a good shot on target. SC Virtelo's Daniel Matias played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gaspar Cunha in the 77th minute of play. Figueirinha FC's Rui Teixeira proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 84th minute of the match, managed to save Figueirinha FC from getting a goal against them.
