The audience was convinced that André Freitas's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Manuel Lisboa was relentless in the 15th minute of the game. After having played for 19 minutes, Ricardo Cardoso managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Fitoiro FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ricardo Cardoso was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, SC Saltadouro's Eusébio Azevedo got a free kick in the 32nd minute. When the match clock showed 34 minutes, the score became 0-2 when André Freitas sped through SC Saltadouro's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Manuel Lisboa. Ricardo Cardoso fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Manuel Lisboa having to interfere. After some careless play in the SC Saltadouro defense, Ricardo Cardoso kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Manuel Lisboa. The SC Saltadouro fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Manuel Lisboa should have stopped the shot. Manuel Lisboa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from André Freitas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. SC Saltadouro were awarded a corner in the 92th minute after Fitoiro FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. António Rocha took the corner. After taking down the ball on SC Saltadouro's corner António Rocha fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Marco Pacheco quite easily take care of the ball. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Fitoiro FC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
